Tibetan ‘Melong’ (Ritual Mirror) SOLD

£62.00
ENQUIRE

(100mm diameter)

Used by a Tibetan shaman as a tool for divination. Similar to a scrying mirror, the reflection isn’t crystal clear, instead it is dull and distorted, leaving the reflection open to interpretation. Gazing into the Melong, the shaman hopes to receive significant messages or visions that could offer personal guidance, prophecy, revelation, or inspiration.

Purchased at an auction in Dorking (Surrey, UK), from a private collection of Tibetan antiques.
