Framed Watercolour of Trees Woodland Landscape Abstract
A beautiful piece. The frame and painting appears to be quite early. The frame has a few chips in the corners, and has been painted. The watercolour is quite dirty, but I have no intention of cleaning it - the patina is lovely and deepens the painting’s abstract feel. I cannot tell you anything about the artist of period it was painted - it was purchased as a lot containing a quantity of pictures, from a country house sale in Winchester.
